Portugal has an excellent network of science parks and business incubators; a wide range of start-up support can be provided by those units, including tutoring and coaching services and active networking. Start-uppers, the foreign as the Portuguese, should go first to IPN (www.ipn.pt), of course! J IPN Incubator was considered the best Science-based incubator in the world by the Centre for Strategy and Evaluation Services (CSES) in 2010. And IPN is shortly to inaugurate a new business accelerator with soft-landing support.
